Enjoyed getting to know this family while capturing some Christmas portraits for them. While not all the family live locally, this son and wife wanted to have seasonal family photos with his parents. A tradition that started with the father's family when he was a kid. Those were days when the family got dressed up and went and sat in the Olan Mills studio. This family shared some of their family traditions including watching Christmas Vacation on Christmas morning. The mother blessed me with a compliment toward the end of our time together: "You made me feel comfortable immediately."
